Seams To Be Fabrics was conceptualized by our owner Karen.  Karen in a plain, simple and straight forward woman who saw a coming need for sewers in the Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina area.  It was obvious to Karen that with the closing of many retail outlets and the downsizing of even more that very soon there would be no convenient place for people of the area to purchase quality fabrics and sewing supplies without major traveling involved.  As we are all aware the present economy is causing everyone to "tighten their belts" and making an hour or more trip isn't always an option.  More and more we see sewers making clothing, gifts, and home decor products for friends and family alike.  Many more have been inspired to learn how to sew, afterall there's nothing quite like receiving a hand made gift.  With this in mind Seams To Be Fabrics is calling in local talent to share their knowledge and skills with the Novice!  Who knows perhaps even the experienced sewers will learn a few new tricks!  More information about these classes is available in the "Classes" section of our website.  Thanks for learning a bit more about us and Welcome to the Seams To Be Family.
